Line-ups: Real Betis vs Real Madrid

Gareth Bale starts for Real Madrid at Real Betis and Marco Asensio also features from the off after his cameo against Paris Saint-Germain.

Asensio helped Madrid to a 3-1 win over PSG in the Champions League Round of 16 in midweek, coming off the bench to create Madrid’s second goal for Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo and Bale are both named as well but Karim Benzema is only among the substitutes while another change from midweek sees Dani Carvajal – who missed PSG through suspension – come in at right-back.

Nacho moves to the centre of defence to partner Sergio Ramos, Raphael Varane dropping out, with Marcelo at left-back and Keylor Navas in goal.

Lucas Vazquez, Casemiro and Mateo Kovacic round off Zinedine Zidane’s selection at Benito Vilamarin with Isco and Luka Modric on the bench.

Betis Coach Quique Setien meanwhile brings Antonio Barragan into the side that beat Deportivo La Coruna 1-0 at Riazor on February 12.

Ex-Madrid youngster Antonio Adan keeps goal as Marca predicts Betis will switch to five-at-the-back with the introduction of Barragan, who replaces Francis Guerrero.

Loren Moron, promoted from the B team earlier in the season, continues in attack after three goals in his two games thus far.
