Lobotka wants new Celta deal

Celta Vigo midfielder Stanislav Lobotka wants to open negotiations for an extended contract at the club, his agent has confirmed.

The 23-year-old has made 24 La Liga appearances for the Galician side since joining from Danish club Nordsjaelland and has impressed at both club and international level.

However, reports on Wednesday linked him with a late move to Italian giants Inter, but the Slovakian’s agent dismissed these claims and stated the contrary was true.

“There is no agreement with my client from Inter or any other club,” Branislav Jasurek told FCInterNews.

“Stanko is totally focused on his job with Celta Vigo.

“Soon we'll start negotiations with the club for a new contract. We're happy so many clubs are interested in him, but at the same time Lobotka is very happy to play for Celta.

“He won't move now, he'll stay in Spain.”

Lobotka’s international teammate Milan Skriniar has starred for the Nerazzurri this campaign since his summer switch from Sampdoria.
