Barcelona have called up Philippe Coutinho and Yerry Mina to face Alaves, but Denis Suarez and Andre Gomes fail to make the cut.
Coutinho is expected to make his first start for Barca on Sunday, while Mina is likely to be named a substitute against Alaves.
However, Gomes is out with “digestive troubles” and joins Denis and Gerard Deulofeu on the sidelines, the pair dropped on technical grounds.
Elsewhere, Thomas Vermaelen and Ousmane Dembele remain on the comeback trail from injury.
Alaves, on the other hand, overlook former Blaugrana striker Bojan Krkic once more, with his spell at Mendizorroza having seemingly run its course.
Barca beat Alaves 3-1 in the Copa del Rey Final last season, but the Basques famously defeated the Liga leaders 2-1 on their previous trip to Camp Nou.
