Former Valencia Coach Cesare Prandelli has been sacked by Al-Nasr after only six months in charge, the Emirati club have confirmed.
The Italian managed just 10 matches with Valencia after being brought in to replace Pako Ayesteran, but he resigned over the club’s transfer strategy.
Appointed by Emirates Arabian Gulf League club Al-Nasr Dubai last summer, Prandelli managed five wins in 12 league games until being relieved of his duties.
“Al-Nasr Sports Club has decided to sack Italian Cesare Prandelli as first team Coach,” the club confirmed on their official Twitter page.
“First team training has been entrusted to Mr Ali Murad.”
Prandelli’s managerial career has included stints with Italy, Fiorentina, Roma Parma and Galatasaray.
