Atletico Madrid defender Juanfran is confident he can return to first-team action against Real Sociedad on Saturday.
The right-back has enjoyed two days of full training with his teammates at the Cerro del Espino after recovering from a hamstring injury.
“Right now I feel very good,” Juanfran said, as quoted by Marca.
“I’m confident of a return to action on Saturday but it depends on what the doctors say, but I’m definitely going to be back soon.”
The full-back was also questioned on Sime Vrsaljko’s future, amid rumours he could leave the club for Napoli in January.
“You would need to ask Sime,” Juanfran responded.
“He is a very talented player but it’s not easy for any player to have regular football in this team.”
