Athletic Club comeback for Hertha win

Two penalties from Aritz Aduriz and a late strike from Inaki Williams to comeback to defeat Hertha Berlin and take control in their Europa League group.

The defeat eliminated the Bundesliga side from the competition while it ensures Jose Angel Ziganda’s side only need to avoid defeat against Zorya on the final day to ensure progression from the group.

Mathew Leckie had given the German side a deserved lead but Aduriz's first penalty restored parity before Davie Selke restored the visitor’s lead.

The veteran striker again brought the Basque club level again from the penalty spot midway through the second half and seven minutes later, Aduriz turned provider to set up Williams for the winner.
