Sergi Roberto says Barcelona “feel very good at the moment” after their 3-1 win against Olympiakos and that “there are no words to describe Lionel Messi.”
Sergi completed another match at right-back for Barca on Wednesday, on the same night that Messi scored his 100th goal in Europe.
“We started very strong, attacking, and we were able to score,” he said after the game.
“We needed to kill the game off and they were playing deep, but ultimately we succeeded. We controlled the game and that’s what’s important.
“The team feel very good at the moment. We’re leaders in La Liga and the Champions League.
“We’re also solid at the back, even if we conceded a goal at the end of the game, but we must keep working to achieve our objectives.
“Hundred goals in Europe for Messi? Really, there are no words to describe the best player in the history of football.
“It’s a pleasure for all of us to share a dressing room with him and play alongside him.”
