Cristiano Ronaldo, Toni Kroos and Marcelo all return to Real Madrid’s matchday squad for their La Liga clash with Real Betis.

Ronaldo and Marcelo both return from suspension while Kroos comes back from injury, although Theo Hernandez, Jesus Vallejo, Karim Benzema and Mateo Kovacic  are all unavailable due to different injuries.

“We’re delighted to have Cristiano back with us,” Zidane told his pre-match press conference.

“I hope it’s the last time we will be without him but now he looks extremely happy, because he is very enthusiastic to play, to be with his teammates and of course to be playing at the Bernabeu.

“For what Cristiano contributes, you only need to look at the facts and stats behind his games – nobody compares to his goals and decisiveness, only him and Messi.

“That is what makes the difference and whilst it would be hugely difficult for him to improve on those incredible numbers, he will be ambitious to do so.”
