Mario Suarez will not be renewing his spell at Valencia after joining Chinese Super League club Guizhou Hengfeng from English club Watford.
The 30-year-old spent last season on loan at the Mestalla but failed to make a strong positive impression, making only 17 La Liga starts in a disappointing campaign for the club.
The former Spain international was formed part of Atletico Madrid’s La Liga title winning side in 2014, making 121 top flight appearances for the club between 2010 and 2015.
Having also had stints at Celta Vigo and Real Mallorca, Suarez joined Fiorentina before swiftly moving to English Premier League club Watford, but he failed to start more than 10 league matches for either club.
