Boateng offered 3-year Las Palmas deal

Kevin-Prince Boateng has been offered a new three-year deal by La Liga side Las Palmas, according to reports in Spain.

According to Marca, the Ghanaian midfielder will sign the deal at Estadio Gran Canaria despite speculation an approach had been made from rivals Valencia.

The 30-year-old has enjoyed a hugely successful campaign in Gran Canaria since his switch from AC Milan, netting 10 La Liga goals in 28 appearances this season.

Las Palmas president Miguel Angel Ramirez had told Radio Marca in April that he was confident the former Spurs and Schalke midfielder would extend his stay at the club and he would carry out negotiations himself.

The new deal is set to include an option for another year for Boateng, should he approve of Quique Setien’s replacement at Los Amarillos.
