Real Madrid and Atletico are both full-strength for this afternoon’s Derbi showdown at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Indeed, Madrid are unchanged from the 2016 Champions League final, while Yannick Carrasco is Atleti’s only newcomer, with Augusto Fernandez a long-term casualty.
Los Blancos have opted for the defensive steel of Casemiro in central midfield, as opposed to the more attack-minded Isco, while Fernando Torres continues to deputise for Kevin Gameiro in the visitors’ attack.
Atleti have won their last three games at the Bernabeu, although Madrid were comprehensive 3-0 victors the last time these two sides met back in November.
