Guillermo Ochoa’s penalty save from Celso Borges ensured Granada earned a point at Deportivo to keep both sides in the relegation battle.

It was a relatively uneventful clash at the Riazor with both sides appearing to let their fear of losing trump their attempts of going to win the match.

El Grana remain La Liga’s only side not have won an away match this season while Deportivo have now gone three matches without scoring following last month’s 2-1 victory at home to Barcelona.

The result leaves Lucas Alcaraz’s Granada side seven points from safety and eight from 16th-placed Depor, with only eight matches of the season remaining.
