Kenan Kodro rescued a point for Osasuna at home to Eibar in Monday night’s La Liga clash, but it’s unlikely to be enough to save them from relegation.
Eibar are the only side Los Rojillos have defeated in the league this season – coming back in October – and despite Kike giving Jose Luis Mendilibar’s side the lead in the 72nd minute, Kodro levelled proceedings seven minutes later.
Osasuna are rooted to the bottom of the table – fourteen points from safety and seven from nearest strugglers Sporting Gijon, and have only eleven fixtures remaining, with relegation now looming large.
Five late yellow cards was evidence of the spark and needle in the fixture, which sees Eibar remain in 8th and eight points from the European places.
