Celta Vigo will take a slender lead into the second leg of their Europa League clash with Krasnodar thanks to Claudio Beauvue's last minute header.
Beauvue replaced John Guidetti with twelve minutes remaining and his header from Hugo Mallo’s right-sided delivery beat Krasnodar goalkeeper Stanislav Kritsyuk to give the Galicians the advantage in the last sixteen clash.
A long-range Daniel Wass free-kick five minutes into the second half gave Eduardo Berizzo’s side the lead before Viktor Claesson levelled the tie six minutes later.
28-year-old forward Beauvue moved to Estadio Balaidos in January 2016 from Lyon for €5m but Thursday’s night appearance was only his second of the season and his fifteenth since joining the club.
