Granada attacker Isaac Cuenca is hopeful his side’s past form for achieving a great escape from La Liga’s relegation zone will help them in this season’s run-in.
This is El Grana’s sixth consecutive season in the top flight and they have yet to finish higher than 15th in the league standings, and have finished one place above the bottom three on two occasions.
"We have a lot to play for. There's two and a half months of the season left and we all know what we need to do. We know every game is like a final,” Cuenca told reporters after the match.
"It's important the team knows how to suffer and that the team can still win, even when it's suffering. This brings confidence because there's merit to winning games this way."
"Last season the team reached February and we ended up achieving safety in La Liga. This season it's a similar situation. We did it last season and, God willing, we'll do it again."
"We know we still have much to improve in games away from home, so now it's time we changed our negative streak away from home."
