Celta Vigo have agreed a deal for Brondby midfielder Andrew Hjulsager which will see him join the Galicians in a deal worth in the region of €1.1m.
The attacking midfielder has amassed just shy of 100 appearances for the Danish club since coming through their youth ranks and has been capped for various Denmark youth sides right up to Under 21.
The 22-year-old’s contract was due to expire this summer and despite knocking back an initial bid from Celta in the region of €1m, the offer has, according to Cadena Cope, been upped by €100,000 to allow the transfer to go through in January.
"We have reached an agreement with a good price for Andrew, that is why we have let him travel to visit the facilities and negotiate their conditions," Brondby sporting director Troels Bech said in a statement.
Hjulsager will be the third Dane at the club following Pione Sisto’s summer arrival and Daniel Wass.
