Striker Alexandre Pato could be set to leave Villarreal only six months after joining the club from Brazilian side Corinthians, according to reports.
Diario Sport report the former AC Milan striker could be set for the exit door at El Submarino Amarillo this month despite starting 11 games across 19 appearances for Fran Escriba’s side.
Earlier this week, Villarreal completed a loan deal for FC Porto forward Adrian Lopez and Sport say they are closing in on a move for Espanyol striker Filipe Caicedo, which could mean an exit for the 27-year-old Brazilian.
Pato could reportedly move to Turkish giants Galatasary to replace the outgoing Lukas Podolski, while there is also mooted interest from the Chinese Super League.
