Las Palmas and Deportivo La Coruna played out a 1-1 draw in Friday night's Primera Liga encounter between the teams.

Los Amarillos, who have recently confirmed Sergio Araujo will leave the club following repeated drink-driving offences, took the lead in the 13th minute through forward Mateo Garcia's deflected volley.

However, Quique Setien's team were were pegged back in the second half when Florin Andone kept his cool to slot past home keeper Javi Varas after getting on the end of a ball over the top.

With not long remaining, Las Palmas defender Aythami Artiles was sent off for picking up a second yellow card.

Depor, though, could not find a winner and the result means they have now drawn their last five matches in all competitions. They remain 15th in the table, while Los Amarillos are 10th.
