Las Palmas plan triple swoop

Las Palmas are planning a sensational triple loan swoop for Jese Rodriguez, Gabigol and Mubarak Wakaso in January, say reports in Spain.

AS report Quique Setien has told his club to make Jese's signing a priority – the creative midfielder joined PSG from Real Madrid this summer but has struggled to adapt to life in the French capital, scoring only once in twelve sporadic appearances under Unai Emery.

The 23-year-old is a native of Las Palmas and that has given the club hope they can tempt him on a temporary deal until the end of the season to boost their prospects of securing a European spot.

The Gran Canarian side are also hopeful of securing a deal for out-of-favour Inter Milan striker Gabigol, who has made only one appearance for the Nerazurri since joining them from Santos earlier in this year.

This follows on from media reports in Italy and Brazil that Los Amarillos are working on a loan deal for the 20-year-old (http://www.football-espana.net/62021/las-palmas-want-inters-gabigol) as Inter reportedly favour allowing him to join a European club outside of Italy, rather than returning to Brazil.

The final target is Ghanaian winger Wakaso, who made 20 loan appearances for the club last season but has since joined Greek side Panathinaikos, where he is reportedly unhappy.

The 26-year-old – who also had stints at Villarreal, Espanyol and Celta Vigo – reportedly wants to return to the islanders.
