Fabio Capello has waded into the debate over who should be Real Madrid’s first choice No 9 by saying Zinedine Zidane is handling the matter correctly.
The former Madrid boss was on Fox Sports Italia’s ‘Smart Football’ programme whether it should be Karim Benzema or Alvaro Morata.
“Benzema or Morata? That’s a dilemma any Coach would like to have, but Zizou is solving it in a big way,” maintained the Italian.
“He starts out with the Frenchman, above all because he’s the ‘darling’ of the President, and then brings the Spaniard on to decide matches.
“I think Zizou’s tactics are the best, and results show that he is right.”
