Juande Ramos has expressed his delight at his Malaga side's 'crucial' comeback win against Eibar at La Rosaleda. on Tuesday night.
The victory was Ramos' first since being instilled as boss of Los Boquerones this summer in his fifth game in charge and relieved some early pressure.
"It was crucial to win the game, but we always believed in ourselves as we kept creating chances," the 61-year-old told reporters after the game.
"The victory came about after much suffering but I felt it was deserved.
"Our performances have been good but we just have not had any luck, and maybe that came about a little tonight.
"We now must keep improving and ensure that we are on the right path."
Nano had given Eibar a first half lead before strikes from Sandro Ramirez and Youssef El-Nesyri won the game for Malaga.
