Bologna want Cerci in January

Atletico Madrid forward Alessio Cerci's move to Bologna could go through in January.

Cerci's proposed loan move to the Italian club fell through on the final day of the transfer window following a failed medical, but multiple reports now suggest that the transfer could be rekindled when the window reopens.

Bologna want to sign Cerci despite doubts over an ongoing injury, which resulted in his failed medical, report Il Corriere di Bologna and AS.

The 29-year-old, who had spells on loan at AC Milan and Genoa last season, was removed from the Atletico club website despite remaining at the club where he appears to have little future after a 15 million euros move from Torino in 2014.
