Having joined Real Betis on loan from Turkish club Galatasaray, Dutch defender Ryan Donk explained how he would 'play with heart and passion' for his new club.
"It feels really warm," the 30-year-old explained following the move.
"I've been helped by everybody at the club and now I'm really happy to be here.
"I will play with my heart and hopefully be able to bring this to the fans of Real Betis and help us to win many matches."
The former Dutch Under 21 international, who can also play as a holding midfielder, explained how he wanted to establish a place in Gus Poyet's side.
"I am ambitious – I want to play a lot of games and learn Spanish," he explained.
"I'm a strong, technical player but everybody wants to be involved and that's why I've come here."
