Barcelona have confirmed that forward Paco Alcacer has completed his move to Camp Nou from Valencia.
The 23-year-old underwent a medical with the Spanish champions on Monday and has now signed a five-year contract in Catalonia.
Barca are paying a fee of €30m for his services, while it has also been announced that a release clause of €100m has been inserted into Alcacer’s contract.
The player, who is currently away on international duty with Spain, will be officially presented to the media upon his return next week.
Alcacer scored 13 goals in La Liga last season for Valencia and is expected to act as understudy to Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar at his new club.
“I will try and do my bit by brining goals and hard work,” the striker said after signing his contract.
