The father and agent of Barcelona midfielder Rafinha, Mazinho, has denied a return to Celta Vigo.
It was reported that Celta wanted to get Rafinha back to Balaidos and would offer €10m to do so, and had Mazinho’s blessing, but Sport quotes the former Brazil international as rejecting the rumours.
Mazinho dismissed the speculation as ‘lies’ on Twitter through an account created specifically to rebut the story, verified as genuine by his daughter, the sister of Rafinha and Bayern Munich and Spain midfielder Thiago Alcantara.
