Atletico Madrid have been linked with a move for West Ham’s France international midfielder Dmitri Payet.
AS cites reports from the British Press that say Los Rojiblancos are the latest side to have joined the chase for Payet, who caught the eye with his first season at the Hammers and again in scoring the winner in the opening Euro 2016 fixture as Les Bleus beat Romania.
West Ham have however intimated that there is no chance the 29-year-old will be sold and Payet would command a substantial fee if he was to leave the London club.
The Hammers have meanwhile confirmed the signing of Valencia’s Sofiane Feghouli on a free transfer after his contract at Mestalla expired.
