Line-ups: Madrid-Valencia

Luka Modric joins Gareth Bale and Keylor Navas on the injured list as Real Madrid host Valencia in a crucial La Liga fixture.

Madrid are third as the penultimate round of fixtures approaches, a point behind both Atletico Madrid and Barcelona and have to beat Los Che to have any chance of snatching the title on the final day.

Zinedine Zidane knew he would be without Bale and Navas but Modric went down late, Kiko Casilla, James Rodriguez and Lucas Vazquez coming in.

Casilla keeps goal behind Danilo, Sergio Ramos, Raphael Varane and Marcelo, the Champions League finalists going with Casemiro, Toni Kroos and James in midfield.

Karim Benzema starts in the front three with Lucas and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Valencia Coach Pako Ayestaran has Diego Alves in goal with a defence made up of Antonio Barragan, Shkodran Mustafi, Aymen Abdennour and Guilherme Siqueira.

Javi Fuego, Dani Parejo and Enzo Perez are the midfield three while usual full-back Joao Cancelo starts on the right, with Rodrigo Moreno and Paco Alcacer completing the attack.
