Sevilla could be open to accepting €20m and Alen Halilovic from Barcelona to part with striker Kevin Gameiro, reports say.
Mundo Deportivo suggests Los Rojiblancos would be open to the operation and Barca might be willing as well, though there is a lot of interest in Halilovic, currently on loan at Sporting Gijon.
However, it’s believed that Halilovic has been told by former Sevilla midfielder Ivan Rakitic that Sevilla is a good club at which to play, and that could tip the balance.
Barca technical secretary Robert Fernandez was at Mestalla on Sunday as Sevilla lost to Valencia, a game in which Gameiro scored.
Gameiro has spoken keenly of the idea of moving to Camp Nou, it’s noted, and Barca are understood to want support for the regular front three of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar.
