Atletico Madrid have been dealt a triple fitness boost as Diego Godin, Stefan Savic and Yannick Carrasco are available for Tuesday’s trip to Barcelona.
Acording to Marca, the trio proved their fitness in training on Sunday, Godin having recovered from a hamstring injury, Savic a nail infection and Carrasco an ankle problem.
The defensive duo’s return will be particularly welcomed by Diego Simeone, who was forced to start with youngster Lucas Hernandez and Nacho Monsalve at centre-back in Saturday’s 5-1 victory over Real Betis.
However, Jose Maria Gimenez, Tiago Mendes and Oliver Torres remain sidelined, with Luciano Vietto neither training on Snday due to a bout of gastroenteritis.
Atleti are due to travel to Barca on Monday ahead of their Champions League quarter-final first leg a day later.
