Malaga goalkeeper Carlos Kameni has undergone surgery on a torn meniscus and the club reports the procedure was a success.
Marca notes Kameni has torn the meniscus in his right knee and the operation was carried out by Dr Jose Manuel Fernandez at Hospital El Angel in Malaga.
Kameni is expected to be unavailable for the next six weeks and it is touch-and-go as to whether or not he’ll be ready to play again before the end of the season.
The Cameroon international is expected to be released from hospital on Tuesday morning.
