Las Palmas have suspended Nauzet Aleman after a late-night altercation left the midfielder needing 18 stitches to his face.
AS reports Nauzet was in a nightclub following Sunday’s defeat to Barcelona and became involved in an altercation after he was recognised by fellow revellers.
Nauzet didn’t have the club’s permission to be out past curfew and the club are investigating precisely what happened to leave the 30-year-old needing medical attention.
He has been suspended for two weeks pending the outcome of the disciplinary proceedings while Sergio Araujo, who was also present, hasn’t received the same sanction, as Las Palmas don’t feel the two cases are the same.
