Ernesto Valverde believes details will be decisive when Athletic Bilbao meet Marseille in the Europa League.
The first leg takes place in France on Thursday evening and Valverde has spoken to the Press about the game, one he feels could go either way, but promises he won’t try to mimic Marseille to get a result.
“It will be a high-tempo game, because they have a high tempo and us too,” he said, Marca reports.
“We can’t differ from what we do. Marseille are Marseille and Athletic is Athletic. We start from there and we’ll try to win with the details.
“I think we were unlucky with the draw. It’s a very open tie. Marseille are a team with great history, they’ve been champions of Europe and I’m sure they’ll go out to win. Their name means they have an obligation to attack.”
