Valencia sporting director Jesus Garcia Pitarch struggled to remember a poorer performance against Barcelona than Wednesday’s 7-0.
Los Che were routed in the Copa del Rey semi-final first leg and Pitarch offered an apology to supporters, and was equivocal when asked about Gary Neville’s future as Coach.
“It’s one of the worst games in our history at this stadium,” Marca quotes Pitarch as saying after the final whistle.
“For our part we want to apologise to our fans for this. We can’t ask anything of the fans because we’re not giving them anything.
“Neville’s future? This isn’t the best day to make a decision or be reflective.”
