Barca-Valencia, Sevilla-Celta in semis

Holders Barcelona face Valencia in the Copa del Rey semi-finals, while Sevilla take on Celta Vigo.

The first tie marks a repeat of the 2007-08 season, when Los Che prevailed 4-3 on aggregate to reach the final, where they defeated Getafe 3-1 to lift the cup.

Sevilla, meanwhile, are vying for their first Copa since 2010, but standing in their way are the 2001 runners-up, who knocked out Atletico Madrid in the quarter-finals.

The first legs will be played on February 3, with the return games scheduled for a week later.

The venue for the final has yet to be decided, but the Vicente Calderon is considered the favourite due to Los Colchoneros’ elimination and it being the most accessible.
