Celta Vigo Coach Eduardo Berizzo rates the Copa del Rey game against Cadiz as important as the Primera meeting with Atletico Madrid.
Berizzo told his pre-match Press conference that a victory against the Segunda B side means more than just potential Cup progress after some bad results in the League.
“We need to move forward because we’re coming from two defeats. We’re delighted to be in this round, and we need to play a good game. This game is just as important as Sunday against Atletico,” he said, AS reports.
“We’re in a good position in the League and we have to defend it, but the Cup is a competition that excites us. We’ll face a very motivated opponent and we have to play with the utmost seriousness.
“Cadiz have very fast players on the flanks and an experienced forward in Dani Guiza. They’ll be very motivated against a Primera team.”
