Madrid, Atletico, Sevilla – CL live!

Good evening and welcome to Football Espana’s live coverage of Champions League fixtures involving Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Sevilla.

Los Blancos are in Lviv to play Shakhtar Donetsk, Los Colchoneros host Galatasaray and Los Rojiblancos have travelled to Germany to meet Borussia Monchengladbach.

It’s Madrid’s first outing since they were routed by Barcelona in the Clasico, with Rafa Benitez under increased pressure as a result.

But Madrid are top of Group A and already through to the next round, needing a win to guarantee progression in first place.

A draw would be enough to confirm Madrid as group winners if Paris Saint-Germain don’t beat Malmo in the group’s other game.

Atletico’s Group C has already seen Astana and Benfica draw earlier on Wednesday and Diego Simeone’s side will qualify for the knockouts with a draw.

Sevilla are on the brink in Group D and have to win to have any chance of staying in the competition, though a victory would at least deliver a Europa League place at the very least.

Unai Emery’s side are the current Europa League holders having won the trophy in each of the past two seasons.
