Jose Luis Mendilibar praised Eibar's humility and proficiency in playing to their strengths after Sunday's 1-0 win against Rayo Vallecano.
Diego Llorente's own goal was enough to secure all three points for the Basques, who subsequently moved into La Liga's top six, and the Coach felt the result did not do his side justice as testament to their performance.
“We played very well, competing for 90 minutes and knowing what we had to do. It was a fair victory. We're looking strong at the moment,” he said after the game.
“Rayo are brave and you're always wary that they can come back, but in the end we triumphed, which was important.
“We must always remain humble and capitalise on our strengths. In my opinion, we defended better in the attacking half.
“We had chances to score more goals, and in the end we suffered but won.”
