Barcelona right-back Douglas suffered a broken foot against Villanovense and is looking at two months on the injured list.
The club have confirmed the blow for the Brazilian, who played the full 90 minutes of the goalless Copa del Rey draw, and also missed the first two months of the season after tearing his hamstring in a friendly with Chelsea.
Douglas was signed from Sao Paulo in the summer of 2014 but has managed only a handful of appearances under Luis Enrique, through a combination of injuries and being unable to get past compatriot Dani Alves.
Barca reported on Thursday that Douglas has fractured the scaphoid bone of his right foot.
