‘Villarreal must be patient and intense’

Marcelino wants to see patience and intensity from Villarreal against Dinamo Minsk as he warns a frustrating night could be in store.

The Yellow Submarine host the Belarussians in the Europa League and the Coach is sure his team are superior, but doesn’t expect the points to come easily.

“We have to be patient, with constant intensity to find the goal,” he said, AS reports.

“They’ll be a compact team who will defend with order, look for the counter-attack and to make us impatient.

“We have to make fewer mistakes than in recent games. We are the better team.

“I won’t play the same team as against Celta Vigo. Rotations are best for the group in the short, medium and long-term.

“Some players are playing more than we expected. Roberto Soldado is playing a lot and it’s a strange season after two seasons of not playing.”
