Ernesto Valverde gave nothing away regarding the Athletic Bilbao XI to play Partizan Belgrade in the Europa League.
The Coach was asked if he was likely to ring the changes for the match, but declined to say out of fear of showing his hand.
“We played on Sunday and have another game on Monday. It’s possible there’s changes. I don’t want to give clues to the opponent,” he said, AS reports.
“The only message is that this is an important game to win. There’s nothing behind it.
“Partizan will compete well. They have talent, individuality, they’re young and talented and stay in tough games.
“I’m not worried [that Athletic haven’t won away from home in eight games]. I know that in Baku, Zilina and at Deportivo La Coruna we could have won. Every game is different.”
