Aymen Abdennour is sure he has made the right choice in signing for Valencia after the transfer was completed on Saturday.
Abdennour joins from Monaco, the team beaten by Los Che in the Champions League play-off, and replaces Nicolas Otamendi, who has joined Manchester City.
“Valencia is one of the big clubs in Spain and Europe and I have no doubts,” he said, the club’s official website reports.
“I’m happy to be part of an ambitious and serious project. I want to thank the technical staff, Chan Lay Hoon and Mr Peter Lim.
“I will give everything to have a good season with my new teammates and I hope to win games.
“I know the club and its players well. Everyone knows Valencia, because they have won many trophies and is a big club.
“I’m happy to be in the best League in the world and I hope to play well for the team.”
