Douglas has said he can be the player Barcelona want him to be after playing 90 minutes against LA Galaxy.
The right-back was the only Barca player to complete the full match and said afterwards that he is settled at Camp Nou and doesn’t want to leave, but knows he has to prove himself.
“I feel good, calm. I know I can get to where the Coach wants and I feel at home,” AS quotes the Brazilian as saying.
“I know I have to improve. The Coach asked me to be the player I showed in Brazil. I don’t want to leave.
“Last season it was more than a mental problem. I suffered injuries that hurt my integration into the team.”
