Espanyol President Joan Collet insists no offers have been made for goalkeeper Kiko Casilla.
It is reported that Real Madrid are interested in taking the 28-year-old back to Santiago Bernabeu and are considering an opening offer of €3m for the player.
“It’s all lies, there is nothing. I am surprised and hallucinated!” Collet told reporters today.
“I have spoken a lot in the last few days with Jose Angel Sanchez (Real Madrid CEO) and he did ask a question, but we didn’t sit down to negotiate.
“I don’t know what will happen tomorrow, but at the moment there is nothing.”
The Espanyol chief was also furious with the rumoured offer of €3m and says he has no idea where the figure has come from.
“The player has been an international and he will return to being one. First there needs to be an offer, then we need to know whether the player wants to leave, then finally we will have to speak with the Coaches.
“Talking about this amount of money is unworthy. I don’t know where it has come from.”
