The national public prosecutor has requested jail time for Barcelona President Josep Maria Bartomeu and his predecessor Sandro Rosell in the Neymar case.
Bartomeu and Rosell are accused of financial mismanagement and fraud – both deny the charges – and AS cites a report from Cadena Ser that says Judge Pablo Ruiz has asked that should they be found guilty, Bartomeu be sentenced to two years and three months in prison and Rosell seven years and three months.
It’s also reported that there would be a €33m compensatory sum for Barca to pay in a case that relates to the true cost of the signing of the Brazil forward.
