Eduardo Berizzo said his Celta Vigo side did enough to take all three points in the 1-0 weekend win over Levante at the Ciutat de Valencia.
A Charles goal three minutes from time sealed the points for Celta and Berizzo felt it was only what his players deserved from the encounter.
“We are not a team that wins games towards the end. We usually lose them but I think we played well enough to have won it,” the Argentine told a Press conference.
“We beat opponents who had won their last three home games and in the first half we could have opened it up if we’d taken our chances.
“We got more space after the break and played our own game without letting them hurt us.
“However, it’s always difficult at Levante and the state of the pitch made it even more so, yet we still played well,” he maintained.
