Camacho: ‘Malaga could sell me’

Malaga midfielder Ignacio ‘Nacho’ Camacho says it is feasible that the club might decide to sell him this summer.

Speaking after his side’s 1-0 victory over Valencia on Monday, the 24-year-old told Cadena COPE’s ‘El Partido de las 12’ programme that if a reasonable offer came in for him he could depart La Rosaleda.

“If I do leave here then I want it to be done well and that Malaga are not angry with me,” maintained the Spain international.

“But I also think you need to look at the market and its value in case you leave. We all know Malaga’s situation, which isn’t too bad, but they could be forced to sell for a reasonable price.

“It’s always good when teams are looking at you because it means you are doing things right, both individually and collectively. The situation at Malaga is good and that benefits me.

“In any case, you must live for the present and enjoy the moment. I have a contract here but if anyone wants to come in for me, as the club has already shown, then they will have to negotiate.

“Right now is not the time to talk about these things so we’ll just have to wait and see,” he concluded.
