Real Madrid have been told they won’t be able to sign Lucas Silva from Cruzeiro for anything less than €15m.
The President of the Brazilian club, Gilvan de Pinho Tavares, has said that Madrid have yet to make a formal offer for the midfielder.
“There isn’t a final proposal. We are waiting for an official proposal,” Tavares said, according to AS.
“We’ve already put the price on the market. For less than €15m, we won’t start talking.”
Silva has hinted he wants to join Madrid but Tavares hinted that, if at all possible, he will keep the 21-year-old with his current club, but confirmed there had been interest from unnamed teams in Spain and England.
