Granada President Quique Pina believes referee Jose Luis Gonzalez Gonzalez should have called a foul before Real Madrid’s first goal.
Madrid eventually won 4-0 but the scoring started inside two minutes when Dani Carvajal robbed Jeison Murillo on the touchline and found Karim Benzema, who in turn found scorer Cristiano Ronaldo.
“The referee should have blown for a foul on that play,” Pina said, AS reports.
“The game wasn’t the same after that. Now we have to think of Celta Vigo.
“It would have been fair if we had scored. Hopefully we do in coming games.
“Granada have shown we are compact and can be in mid-table. Celta are a rival of our level.”
