Levante Coach Jose Luis Mendilibar insists his side are ready to play Real Madrid despite the strength of Los Blancos.
Les Granotes are fourth bottom of the table ahead of the game at Ciutat de Valencia but Mendilibar has said there is no trepidation among his squad.
“We approach the game with all the enthusiasm in the world,” he said, AS reports.
“We know the difficulty of Madrid. They come in good form. But everyone is eager to play and will do as much as they can.”
It was put to Mendilibar that after Levante struggled against Barcelona, losing 5-0 at home, a similar outcome is something he should fear.
“They’re different teams. Barca are more about having the ball. Madrid are finishers, faster at the conclusion of the play,” he replied.
“With Toni Kroos, Luca Modric and James Rodriguez they can have the ball and not be in a hurry, but the main feature is rapid completion of plays.
“There’s 90 minutes. You can play a good first half and reach the interval and in three minutes, concede three goals.
“It’s a tough game. You have to concentrate. You can blame fatigue on international matches.”
