Hemed ‘strong’ after internationals

Almeria striker Tomer Hemed is feeling confident ahead of the game against Villarreal, having hit a vein of scoring form.

The Israel international netted for his country, having scored for his club before the international break, and is looking for a third against the Yellow Submarine.

“I’ve come back strongly after the break and hopefully I can score against Villarreal on Sunday,” he said, AS reports.

“Although I am aware that the most important is the collective triumph.

“First you have to engage in defence and I, as a striker, have to help. If we don’t concede we are closer to victory, as against Deportivo.

“Villarreal are a team with quality players so we assume it’ll be a hard game. We can’t make mistakes and if we give a good showing we can cause a surprise.”
